Effective September 2026. This page replaces the version of February 4, 2021, which was written for a different, advertising-based platform.
Daily Epiphany (depiphany.com) is a personal publication. It collects as little as a website can.
What we do not do
We do not run advertising. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing scripts. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with anyone.
Analytics
We count visits with a privacy-preserving analytics service that does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors. It tells us which pages are read and roughly where readers come from, country by country. That is all we look at.
Hosting and log data
The site is served as static files by our hosting provider, which, like any web host, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request) for security and operation. We do not combine these logs with any other data.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we store your email address with our newsletter provider in order to send you new articles. You will be asked to confirm your subscription, and every email carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing deletes you from the list.
If you write to contact@depiphany.com, we keep your message in our mailbox so we can reply. We do not add you to any list.
Links to other sites
We link to other websites. They have their own policies, and we have no control over them.
Children
This site is not addressed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted here.
